Ravens vs. Bengals (2022)

On October 9, Baltimore played the defending AFC Champion Cincinnati Bengals in a Week 5 Sunday night clash, the Ravens’ third consecutive matchup against 2021 playoff teams and their first primetime game of the season. During the John Harbaugh era (since 2008), Baltimore boasts an NFL-best 18-2 regular season record, including a 7-1 (.875) record at home on Sunday Night Football, with the Ravens winning 16 of their past 17 primetime games.

From the history, coach Harbaugh’s Ravens are 14-14 (.643) in 28 games versus the Bengals since 2008.

QB Lamar Jackson made his first career start in a 24-21 home victory over Cincinnati (11/18/18), completing 13-of-19 passes for 150 yards and one interception while adding 119 running yards on 26 touches. Jackson’s 119 running yards remain the highest by an NFL quarterback in his first professional start.

Since all the games played between Ravens and Bengals were fascinating the stadiums were always filled by fans, who were supporting the teams.
